It’s April 6, 2020
I have been in India since March 1st.

When the coronavirus escalated to the point where countries were closing down borders and airlines were cancelling international flights, I decided to stay in India for the duration.

I was in Kolkata volunteering with the Mother Teresa organisation which was a life changing experience.

I decided to fly to Dharamasala in the Himalayas on March 19 in an effort to socially distance myself from millions of people in the big city.

On April 22, India went into isolation – we all stayed home. I am fortunate to be isolated in an absolutely amazing yoga home overlooking the Dharamasala Valley just 400m from HH Dalai Lamas temple and residence. Ram at Ram Yoga House and the staff are really going above and beyond to ensure my comfort and safety. They are all amazing.

So to fill my days I have decided to film myself doing yoga classes and meditations on the roof with the amazing Snow capped Himalayas as a backdrop.

The Internet is a little bit slow here in the mountains, so it’s a challenge to load up my classes. It’s a slow process but Im getting there. Time is a blessing…

It is what it is – I’m so grateful to be here and to be spending this time in meditation, yoga and contemplation.

I wish everyone well on this journey.
Please be safe, look after yourself and your loved ones.

I’ll see you on Dharma Connect

Namaste
